Rules and conditions for using MCP-Hub

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MCP-Hub (the "Service"), operated at mcp-hub.info, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MCP-Hub. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MCP-Hub provides a platform for publishing, certifying, and distributing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. The Service includes:

  • A web dashboard for managing MCP servers and viewing security analysis results
  • An automated security analysis pipeline that evaluates MCP servers for vulnerabilities
  • A registry for distributing certified MCP server artifacts
  • A command-line client for downloading and executing MCP servers
  • Organization management and enterprise governance features

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any information that changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Authentication is managed locally by MCP Hub. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials. MCP-Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content and MCPs

You retain all ownership rights to the code, MCP servers, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant MCP-Hub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Analyze your code for security vulnerabilities as part of the certification process
  • Store, distribute, and make available certified artifacts through the registry
  • Display metadata, descriptions, and security scores on the platform

You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit all User Content and that it does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights, violate any laws, or contain malicious code.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm users or systems
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, manipulate, or game security scores or certification levels
  • Abuse the API through excessive requests, scraping, or automated access beyond reasonable use
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, security analysis methodology, scoring algorithms, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by MCP-Hub and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any MCP-Hub intellectual property to you. Your User Content remains your property, subject to the license granted in Section 4.

7. Fees and Payment

MCP-Hub offers both free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes
  • We may change our fees with 30 days' prior notice
  • Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the Service
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of your account

8. Certification and Security Scores

MCP-Hub provides automated security analysis and certification for MCP servers. You acknowledge that:

  • Security scores and certification levels are informational and based on automated static analysis
  • They do not constitute a guarantee of security or fitness for any particular purpose
  • Scores may change over time as our analysis methodology evolves
  • MCP-Hub is not responsible for vulnerabilities that are not detected by our analysis

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MCP-Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to MCP-Hub in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through the dashboard settings. MCP-Hub may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data. After this period, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
